Breathwork and Emotion

The way we breathe is intrinsically linked to our emotions and our physiology. Breath can be used as a bridge to help us to heal, release trauma and to improve our lives. That can look like improving sports performance, reducing anxiety or overall improving health. The power of breathwork can also help us to reach higher states of awareness.

Much of this was understood by civilisations in the past with breathing practices being central to many ancient traditions including Yoga, Shamanism and Tantra. Throughout History, conscious breathing is considered a major factor in maintaining physical health, emotional stability and spiritual development.
